The Mountain Rescue Service at BRC held rescue campaign in Pirin
The Mountain rescue Service at BRC held rescue campaign in Bansko on 28 January for tracing a young man, covered by avalanche.
The rescue campaign continued for more than twenty-four hours and included more than 50 mountain rescuers from Bansko, Razlog, Yakoruda, Sandanski, Blagoevgrad, Sofia and Plovdiv and 6 dogs of the MRC.
On 29 January, at 12.15, the mountain rescue teams found the body of the covered by avalanche Viktor Garbev, 3 m. under the snow. In the campaign cooperated the National park ‘Pirin”, the “Yulen” Society, the town hall of Bansko municipality and M-Tel.
