The delegation was acquainted with training of the emergency medical specialists.
Bulgarian delegation, consisting of Dr. Valerie Mitrev - Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Nadejda Todorovska - Deputy Director General of the BRC and Atanas Stefanov - Director of National Training Center of the BRC visited the Red Cross of Baden - Wurttemberg - Germany.
The delegation was acquainted with training of the emergency medical specialists. Meetings with the medical school managers, the regional managers of German Red Cross - Tübingen and the president of the German Red Cross - Baden-Wurttemberg were held. The delegation was received by the mayor of Tübingen and the State Secretary of Social Ministry of the province responsible for health.
The readiness of German Red Cross to provide assistance in building a school for training of emergency medical staff was emphasized. If there is a political decision and the relevant regulations on the qualification status and characteristics of professionals who will serve vehicles for emergency medical care in Bulgaria, the establishment of such a school is entirely possible.
