- The Bulgarian RC is receiving requests for Restoring Family Links at tracing@redcross.bg and has disseminated safety tips on keeping family contact, published in Ukrainian language, also available at https://www.facebook.com/RFLBulgaria/

The Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) is constantly monitoring with concern the escalating conflict situation on the territory of Ukraine and the growing needs of the affected population.
The BRC maintains contact, coordinates with Movement partners and assists Bulgarian state institutions in providing humanitarian assistance to people affected by the conflict. The Bulgarian Red Cross maintains an ongoing communication with its branch offices in all of the 28 districts in Bulgaria, and operates by engaging its volunteers and employees and mobilizing them for humanitarian action.
On February 27 a National campaign was announced to the public and manufacturers for in kind donations for people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
On February 28, the National Fundraising Campaign via bank and online donations and a single short number 1466 for short messages donations for affected by the conflict on the territory of Ukraine and arriving in our country was launched.
The Bulgarian Red Cross provided 10,000 Swiss francs from its Disasters and Crises Fund in response to the Preliminary Emergency Appeal of the IFRC to support the humanitarian activities for the affected people in Ukraine and neighboring countries.
The Bulgarian Red Cross has sent 6 trucks carrying humanitarian aid Ukrainian Red Cross carrying warm clothing, winter footwear, bedding, blankets and sanitary supplies which are part of donations made by individuals and business in the national charity campaign announced by the BRC. BRC is ready to render more aid to the affected population and the Ukrainian people arriving in Bulgaria. Additionally, other two trucks were deployed, carrying an allocation of blankets, pillows and bedding from Bulgarian RC disaster stock reserve which was made available via the EU Civil Protection Mechanism in coordination with the General Directorate Fire Safety and Protection of Population in Bulgaria.
