In the National Training Center of the BRC in the village of Lozen a seminar on improving the Tracing activities took place.
Representatives of the regional organizations and the National Council of Bulgarian Red Cross were trained how to organize special units to facilitate the process of investigation.
Each year the National Red Cross Societies in Europe received about 30 000 requests for searches related to past or present military conflicts with natural or man-made disasters and migration. They are active in supporting asylum seekers, refugees and migrants who wish to restore the relationship with their families. Particular attention is paid to the search for unaccompanied minors and other vulnerable people.
