Water Life Saving Service of the BRC warns about dangerous non-guarded water basins
Traditionally, in the summer season increases a number of water accidents.
Most of the drownings are in non-guarded beaches. One of the reasons is the low swimming culture of people and the other is low salary of the lifeguards who preferred to work abroad.
By the end of July 36 people drowned, including 9 children. 17 accidents occurred at sea, and others - in inland waters. Two people have drowned on guarded beaches.
