Charity Fund - Bulgarian Red Cross

The traditions of the Bulgarian Red Cross in the field of charity and charity allow him to find the most appropriate forms of support. One of them is the Mercy Fund, established in 1989 by Decree №46 of the Council of Ministers. It provides financial support to individuals and families in particularly difficult financial situations, as well as to state or municipal social institutions for adults and children.

According to the rules for management of the funds received in the fund, the granting of financial aid is preceded by a previously submitted application for assistance in the Regional Organizations of the Bulgarian Red Cross and a careful study of each case. The provision of cash benefits to eligible citizens or social institutions is one-off within one calendar year.
