THE HUMANITARIAN CAUSES OF THE BULGARIAN RED CROSS RECEIVE SUPPORT FROM KAUFLAND-BULGARIA THROUGH A NEW ECOLOGICAL INITIATIVE

For each PET* bottle or can returned to the recycling stations , customers receive an eco-voucher of 5 stotinki , which they can donate to support the humanitarian causes of the Bulgarian Red Cross. Currently, there are six such stations, three of them are in the capital's districts of "Mladost" ("Filip Avramov" No. 3), "Kriva Reka" (Blvd. "Gen. Totleben" No. 36) and "Lyulin" (Blvd. "Tsaritsa Yoanna" 97), two in Plovdiv (Blvd. "Tsarigradsko Shose" No. 94 and St. "Brezovsko Shose" No. 127) and one in Varna (Str. "Dr. Petar Skorchev" No. 2).

The joint initiative will also encourage Bulgarian manufacturers, as the material obtained from plastic and aluminum will be used to produce new products from them. This way, the use of resources is reduced and the life cycle of raw materials is closed.
