• Training mobile health teams in Sofia (2) and 8 regions (Burgas, Blagoevgrad, Varna, Vratsa, Dobrich, Plovdiv, Ruse, Kardzhali).
• Multiplication of the mobile health units’ model in other regions.
• Equipping these teams with priority medical gear so they can provide first aid, referrals, and basic health support at the scene.
• Building skills in epidemic response, crisis communication, and coordination with the Ministry of Health and other state institutions.
Already, more than 100 instructors and volunteers have been trained in CPR and defibrillator use, and hundreds of people—Bulgarians and refugees alike—have learned life‑saving skills that can be applied when needed.
How your donation will be used
When you donate to this campaign, your money will go directly to:
• Training and certification of volunteers and staff in emergency health care, crisis communication, and epidemic preparedness.
• Equipment and supplies for the mobile health teams (such as: first‑aid kits, defibrillators, protective and other gear, communication tools).
• Operational costs that allow teams to reach disaster and crisis‑affected communities, remote areas, and refugee reception points, quickly and safely.
Your support is used to turn preparedness into action—so that when the next crisis hits, there is help, right there on the spot.
Emotional appeal / call to action
Imagine a child injured in a road accident, an elderly person caught in a flood or fire, a refugee with no access to health care. In these moments, a trained mobile health unit can be the difference between fear and hope, between waiting and getting help in time.
You can be part of that help.
With a donation of your choice, you are not just giving money—you are giving hope, building better preparedness, protection, and assistance when a crisis strikes.
Donate now and help us build stronger, crisis health response across Bulgaria.
Examples what your donation can do

FUND FOR SUPPORTING VICTIMS OF DISASTERS
In partnership and coordination with state authorities, local government and non-governmental organizations, the Bulgarian Red Cross works actively to provide immediate assistance to victims of disasters and crises.
In recent years, the BRC has provided funding from Bulgarian and foreign donors and has supported victims of floods, fires and others with food and non-food items of first need such as: water, food, clothing, tents, heating systems, household equipment, products for disinfection and hygiene and others.
IT IS REVERSIBLE!
From ancient times to the present day, natural disasters have accompanied human's daily life. They are terrible not only because they take many lives, but also because they destroy infrastructure and cause enormous economic damage.
The Earth and climate are changing every day!
We are not able to predict the occurrence of natural disasters, but we can help immediately.
Let’s do it now!
Each donated BGN can change someone’s destiny!
Bulgarian Red Cross provides emergency relief to people in need during natural disasters, armed conflicts, and other emergencies in Bulgaria and around the world.
