June 14 - International Blood Donation Day
On June 14 the world community expresses its gratitude, honor and respect for the voluntary blood donors.
For the sixth consecutive year the Bulgarian Red Cross (BRC) and the National Center for Hematology and Transfusion (NCHT) made this significant date a national event. At a ceremony at the Hall of NCHT ten voluntary blood donors from all over the country were awarded with honorary plaquets.
