In the complicated situation of relocation of Ukrainian citizens in different parts of the country, the BRC continues to support them in coordination with state institutions and local authorities.
Immediately after the start of the relocation process, at the request of the Council of Ministers, the BRC urgently provided food packages for 9,500 Ukrainian citizens located in accommodation centers, railway stations, transit points, etc. The 66,500 food packages provided by the Bulgarian Red Cross are for support for a period of 7 days.
The Bulgarian Red Cross provided urgently / within one day / over 500 camp beds , equipped with mattresses, blankets, bed linen and pillows for relocated Ukrainian citizens in the buffer center VPD "Sarafovo ", for Military Club - Ruse and Military Club - Varna .
The Bulgarian Red Cross continues to provide baby formula and baby food, purees and hygiene materials for children of Ukrainian citizens from 0 to 3 years.
All funds for assistance to the affected Ukrainian citizens are from donations of the Bulgarian citizens and companies under the National Campaign of the Bulgarian Red Cross for assistance to those affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
The leadership of the Bulgarian Red Cross thanks the volunteers and employees, who at this extremely difficult time are on duty around the clock and responsibly carry out their humanitarian mission.
