The Bulgarian Red Cross and the National Center for Transfusion Hematology (NCTH ) are once again joining forces to express their deep gratitude to the voluntary and gratuitous blood donors. On June 14, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. 15 individual and institutional blood donors with a special contribution to the cause from Sofia will be awarded with a Certificate of Honor in the Hall of the National Center for Contemporary Art (112 Bratya Miladinovi Str.). More than 100 people from all over the country will be honored in different places.
Deserved blood donors, institutions, companies and non-governmental organizations that have contributed to the promotion of blood donation will be awarded by the Deputy Director General of the Bulgarian Red Cross Dr. Nadezhda Todorovska and the Director of the National Center for Blood Donation Dr. Nikolay Nikolov .
Anyone wishing to save a human life can donate blood on World Blood Donor Day from 10:00 am in the NCTH building at 112 Bratya Miladinovi Street or every other working day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 13:00 to 18:30 , as well as on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 to 15:30.
Let's not forget that patients need blood every day!
