30 of August is the International Day of the Disappeared
Bulgarian Red Cross takes part in the #NoTraceOfYou initiative dedicated to missing people
- 30 August is the International Day of the Disappeared;
- 3,300 migrants disappeared or died in 2021 trying to reach Europe, according to International Organization for Migration data;
- 360 cases have been received and processed by the BCC staff working on the Restoring Family Links (RFL) programme;
- 72 of the cases were closed with concrete results.
