The Bulgarian Red Cross provided another 20 tons of mineral water for the flood-affected settlements in Tsarevo municipality, donated by "Bottling Company - Gorna Banya" OOD. It is distributed in the points designated for the purpose, located in the town halls of the settlements.
Already in the first hours of the disaster, a team of BRC-Burgas was on the spot in Tsarevo municipality. Two teams from the National Assembly of the BCK traveled successively from Sofia and got involved in assisting the injured population and in assessing the damage.
To date, the Bulgarian Red Cross has provided 654 pcs. food packages and 300 food packages, a donation from the mayor of the Municipality of Plovdiv for the injured families. Clothing, blankets and logistics were provided in the first hours of the disaster. The total amount of water donated by BCHK partners from Devin, Velingrad, Gorna Banya, Kaufland and Coca-Cola exceeds 60 tons.
