The BRC-Russe team won first place at the Sixth National Competition for Disaster Preparedness, First Aid and Elderly Rights, which was held at the BRC NULC in the village of Lozen. The representatives of Ruse collected the most points in the race, in which they had to go through 15 competition points and deal with rendering first aid in sports, domestic and road accidents; provide psychosocial support to disaster victims and demonstrate knowledge of the rights of the elderly.
More than 75 people from 15 regions of the country took part in the traditional competition organized by the Bulgarian Red Cross on the occasion of the International Day of the Elderly - October 1. The competition is part of the long-term policy of the BRC to support the active and healthy life of the elderly.
