At the initiative of the Norwegian Embassy, in cooperation with the Sofia Municipality, the Union of Bulgarian Artists and the Bulgarian Red Cross, a monument in honor of Fritjof Nansen was unveiled in the garden in front of the National Palace of Culture next to the Sofia Boulevard.
