On the occasion of the Day of the People's Awakeners, the Supreme Chitalishte Council annually honors with high honors "Follower of the People's Awakeners" prominent artists, scientists, clergy, teachers and members of the public. Among the holders of the title for 2014 is the chairman of the Bulgarian Red Cross Hristo Grigorov.
