The fourth session of the Ninth and the first session of the Tenth National Assembly of the Bulgarian Red Cross Youth (BRCY) took place in Dobrich.
The prestige of the BRC to a great extent is due to the young members, said the president of the BRC - Mr. Hristo Grigorov, who attended the forum.
The delegates accepted the activity report for the period 2005-2008, expressing a high opinion of the executive body.
BRCY took part in numerous programmes and projects, including violence prevention, human trafficking, international humanitarian law, first aid, social activities, etc.
The new president of the BRCY, members of the BRCY Executive Board and BRCY Control Commission, as well as the BRCY representative in the BRC General Assembly were elected. The new president of the BRCY is Peter Petrov and the representative in the BRC General Assembly will be Alexander Kobakov.
