In the National Training Center of BRC - Lozen took place XIV General Assembly of the Mountain Rescue Service of the BRC.
Guests of the forum were the President of BRC - Hristo Grigorov, member of the National Council of the BRC - Prof. Dr. Konstantin Koichev, Director General - Dr. Sofia Stoimenova, Deputy Directors General - Dr. Nadejda Todorovska, Dr. Slavita Djambazova and Vasilka Kamenova.
The Assembly adopted guidelines for the work of Mountain Rescue Service for the next four years. The main priorities for the new leadership: significant improvement of technical base (cars, snowmobiles, ATVs, radios, GPS etc.) and continue efforts to initiate government decision for creation and implementation of a national system of assistance with helicopters.
The delegates elected the new Board of Directors which will consist of 7 members. The new elected President of the MRS is Prof. Dr. Oleg Cholakov - so far President of the MRS medical committee. His deputy will be the MRS Director - Kiril Russev. President of the Audit Committee will be Pavel Pavlov.
