Disaster Management Training
Disaster Management Experts from all over the world will be trained at BRC

The training course will be held from 1 till 8 April 2019 at the national training Centre of BRC – Lozen, led by the team of IFRC/RC experts. The official start will be on 2 April (Tuesday) at 9 a.m. Volunteers and staff members of several Red Cross National Societies and IFRC/RC representatives will be trained for a week how to manage the financial support at the time of crises and disasters. The training course is a part of a two-year project “EU Volunteers for humanitarian relief. Technical Support and Capacity Building”, funded by the EU and the IFRC/RC.


The aim of the project is to improve the capacity of the National Societies to provide qualitative support, volunteer and staff management for disaster response and raised capacity for humanitarian assistance. The BRC is in charge of the practical trainings and testing of the project. In May this year will start the second training course, which will be big international event, followed by a real situational training with the participation of regional rescue teams of the IFRC/RC.
